Paola is a lawyer from the Universidad del Rosario, specializing in Commercial Law from the Universidad de los Andes. She has + 18 years of experience in media and entertainment companies in Latin America and the Hispanic United States. She earned the LEGAL 500 Award in 2022 and was featured as an Expert Entertainment Lawyer by Vanguard Law Magazine in February 2023. She is an expert in the design and development of legal strategies. She has knowledge of the market and a strong relationship with the main networks, actors, and entertainment guilds. She is an expert in managing regulatory affairs (Colombia and Mexico), negotiation of international contracts, intellectual property, compliance policy, and mergers and acquisitions.

 

She has led multicultural and multigenerational (Latam) legal and non-legal technical teams. Her last job was at TIS Productions (formerly Telecolombia) as Executive Legal and Human Resources Director of Colombia and Mexico, from August 2017 to March 2022. She also worked as Corporate Manager of Golf Channel Latin America in NYC, and Legal Director of Citytv, Publishing House El Tiempo.
