Michel Rubén is a Film Producer and Film Consultant that resides in Spain. He was the Head of the International Department at El Deseo S.A., Pedro Almodóvar’s production company. Michel has worked as a Production Consultant for international leading companies such as HBO and Pathé. He has also been in the international sales department at such companies.
Michel has been an Executive Producer and an Associate Producer for over 10 films, including award-winning projects such as All About My Mother (1999) and Talk to Her (2002) by Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar; The Devil’s Backbone (2001) by Guillermo del Toro; My Life Without Me (2003) by Isabel Coixet; Dynamo Productions’ Rage (2009) by Sebastián Cordero; Undertow (2009) and The Vanished Elephant (2014) by Peruvian director Javier Fuentes-León; Una hora más en Canarias (2010) by David Serrano; and The Hidden Face (2011) and Roa (2013) by Andrés Baiz.
Cristian, an experienced film producer, has achieved a diversity of recognition from several film festivals and critics. He has produced multiple award-winning projects such as UNDERTOW (Audience Award at Sundance), RAGE, and commercial hits such as THE HIDDEN FACE. In 2016, he produced Netflix’s first original Spanish film, 7 AÑOS, as well as the elevated Sci Fi story, ORBITA 9. Cristian is currently developing a TV show for Movistar+, a film for Participant Media, and another feature for SKE Films. Cristian is a founding partner of Dynamo.
Diego studied International Finance and Relations at the Universidad Externado de Colombia and earned his master’s degree in International Economics at the University of Basel in Switzerland. He worked as a strategy consultant for seven years at Accenture (offices in Bogotá, Buenos Aires and Madrid). He later spent three years with De La Rue in London as part of an executive business development team, where he led projects for emerging markets. Diego is a founding partner of Dynamo where he currently holds the position of Executive Producer. He oversees the development and production of projects for television and digital platforms. Since 2016, Diego has been supervising Narcos, the Netflix original series.
Andrés holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Louisiana State University (LSU), United States, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the IE, Spain.
For over eight years, Andrés worked in the financial sector in investment banking in countries such as Colombia and the United States (New York). In 2006, along with other partners, Andrés founded Dynamo. He has remained as the CEO of the company since. He has managed and produced around 30 films and TV series, both in Colombia and abroad. These projects include films such as THE HIDDEN FACE (2011), THE 33 (2015), ESCOBAR (2017, starring Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem), AMERICAN MADE (2017, starring Tom Cruise), and TV series such as NARCOS for Netflix and EL CHAPO for Univision.
Since 2014, he has been living in New York in the hopes of merging the Latin and American entertainment industries.
Andrés, an NYU graduate, is a film director. His short film, HOGUERA, premiered in La Quinzaine des Réalisateurs in Cannes, 2007. SATANÁS, his film debut, is a psychological thriller that won more than 15 international awards, including honorable mention in San Sebastián, 2007. His work includes titles such as THE HIDDEN FACE and ROA, a political drama set in 1948 in Bogotá. He also directed the Latin American remake of the American series BREAKING BAD for Sony.
Natalia has a bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Audiovisual Production from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali, in addition to studying Production Management at SICA, Argentina.
Natalia has more than seven years of experience in production. She leads film and television projects in coproduction as a Senior Associate Producer at Dynamo. She is an active member in the Director of Productions field of the Colombian Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences. She has worked as Production Supervisor for international productions such as Palm Trees in the Snow (2015), The Boy (2015), and 7 Años (2016); working side by side with producers from Argentina, Spain, Mexico, and the United States. She has been an Associate Producer for several films, including El Paseo 4 (2016) and Gran Dragón (2017).
Juliana has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communications from the Universidad Javeriana. For over eight years, Juliana worked as an Executive Producer, Production Manager, and Research Manager for films alongside Sergio Cabrera and Ramón Jimeno.
Juliana was the Production Manager for Todos se van (2015) by Sergio Cabrera. Juliana has also worked as the Unit Manager in productions such as American Made (2017) by Doug Liman and as the Unit Production Manager in movies such as Órbita 9 (2017) by Hatem Khraiche. She was also the Production Coordinator for Gran Dragón (2017) by Jaime Osorio.
Juliana is currently the Head of Physical Production at Dynamo and has worked in projects such as El Chapo (2017), Escobar (2017), Narcos 3 (2017), and Sniper 7 (2017).
